Julianna Enns comes to us from Winnipeg, MB. She holds an ARCT (teachers) degree and is a member of the Manitoba Registered Music Teachers’ Association. Her teachers have included Erna Elias, Jean Broadfoot, Marlene Pauls Laucht and Frances Sanderson. Mrs. Enns works as a music teacher, accompanist, adjudicator, clinician, and guest lecturer. Mrs. Enns has taught in southern Manitoba for 40+ years. Her students range from beginner to professional musicians. She instructs piano, theory, and pedagogy. Mrs. Enns gives master classes, workshops and does consulting for auditions and exams. Julianna Enns has adjudicated festivals for AMAF for more than a decade, and has given workshops at Manitoba Conservatory of Music on topics such as “Motivating your piano student” and “How to teach beginners”.
Currently Mrs. Enns is teaching a full music program of piano and choir at at two Hutterite Colonies as well as providing private instruction in piano and theory in her home. She has an interest in how the adult brain activity can be increased and stimulated with piano lessons and she serves as an accompanist at Grant Memorial Baptist Church. Julianna resides in Charleswood with her husband Gordon, and they have three adult children and three grandchildren.
